Ethraa is an Arabic word meaning enrichment. At Mashrek International School, Ethraa Department reflects our belief that every child can learn, grow, and thrive when supported with understanding, care, and the right strategies.
Ethraa supports students with additional learning needs as well as those who benefit from academic or language enrichment, helping each child reach their highest potential by building on their strengths and emerging skills.

The Ethraa Department includes
- Inclusive Educational Needs Programme
Through a dedicated and qualified team, the different aspects of the student’s life are identified and assessed in order to develop a well-tailored plan that specifically targets the individual needs of the student. The programme supports students academically in Languages, Mathematics and Sciences and/or by providing Occupational/Speech Services. This programme is classified into 2 groups
1. Special Educational Needs Services
2. Academic and Language Support Services
Through a specialized therapist, this programme focuses on helping students who have a sensory, physical or cognitive disability to develop or improve the necessary skills needed for daily living and working.
- Speech and Language Therapy
Through a speech and language pathologist, this programme provides treatment, support and care for students who have speech and language disorders by improving their language development and communication.
